Welcome to Auberge Monnet, a culinary gem nestled in the charming town of La Roche-de-Glun, France. Located at 3 Pl. du Petit Puits, this quaint restaurant invites patrons to savor the true essence of French bistro cuisine. With a focus on fresh, local ingredients and a laid-back atmosphere, Auberge Monnet is a spot where culinary tradition meets modern comfort.
One of the standout dishes on the menu is the Friture de Truitelles, sourced from the pristine pisciculture in Sône. Priced reasonably at €15.00, this dish showcases the delicate flavors of freshwater fish, making it a must-try for seafood lovers. The freshness of the trouts is evident, and when paired with a glass of the Spring 21 Crozes Hermitage, priced at €40.00, the experience is elevated to a new level, highlighting the wine's vibrant fruitiness and refreshing acidity.
If you're in the mood for something sweet, don't miss the delightful Ile Flottante à la Fleur d'Oranger. Priced at €7.00, this dessert evokes nostalgia, reminiscent of the homemade treats our grandmothers used to prepare. For chocolate aficionados, the Mousse au Chocolat promises a rich, indulgent experience, made with 75% grand cru dark chocolate, also available for €7.00 and loved by many patrons.

Had come here a couple of years ago and still liked it even though I was a bit less excited than the first time due to main courses: they were cold when they reached our table and portions were tiny. The dessert was still amazing though.

Super service, the food a bit on the oily side for my taste, but overall it was a nice lunch.

Hidden Gem. Absolutely a fantastic example of the region. I went for lunch with my wife before going to the vineyards and I was very surprised how good it was. The owner and staff are very attentive and provide high class service. The prices were fair as well.
